ARCA is partnered with a fast-growing engineering company revolutionising the automotive and motorsport driving simulator market with its disruptive motion simulation technology. Due to capability growth, they're looking to hire a Simulator Operater and Commissioning Engineer.
This role combines simulator operation with on-site customer commissioning and technical support. Key responsibilities include:
- Operating internal demonstrator and development systems
- Planning and executing on-site commissioning for customer simulators
- Supporting customers in optimising their simulator usage
- Exploring and evaluating new technologies for integration
- Developing simulation scenarios to showcase system capabilities
- Background in Engineering, Physics, Maths, or Computer Science
- Independent, methodical problem-solver with strong planning skills
- Proficient with computer systems and networks (preferred)
- Familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink (preferred)
- Knowledge of driving simulators and/or vehicle dynamics (preferred)
- Hands-on experience with advanced simulation systems
- Opportunities to deliver high-end solutions to elite automotive and motorsport clients
- Exposure to cutting-edge technologies in simulation
- Full involvement in customer projects with cross-functional team interaction
